Like other museums Brook was sadly unable to open for the 2020 season due to the Covid-19 restrictions.  However we have remained busy during lockdown.  On the building side much of the decaying oak cladding to the side sheds has been replaced with new oak cladding, all of which was cut and milled locally, and the fire alarm system was overhauled.   Some of the exhibits in the barn have been reorganised with a view to improving access and a wonderful display of models has been put on in the former shop - there will be much to see and admire when the museum reopens in 2021.  After chairing the Trust for over 20 years George Jessel passed on the baton to John Nightingale who agreed to take on the role for a limited period in order to lead a review of priorities and strategy; he will be assisted by fellow-trustee Tim Betts in the role of Deputy Chair.
